Lindsay Joy Hamilton
I am trained in a psychodynamic art therapy approach, creating opportunities for clients to explore thoughts, emotions and experiences through the creative process. My practice is deeply rooted in person-centred, anti-oppressive and existential philosophy. I am increasingly integrating Eco-relational and Jungian perspectives into my work. By weaving these elements together, I can offer my client a space to explore both inner and outer worlds, helping to better understand the intricate tapestry of a meaningful life.

I am an artist, educator, Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) and Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in Southern Treaty 3 territory near Gojiji-zaaga’igan and Gojiji-ziibi (Rainy Lake and Rainy River). I graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2009) and completed a post-graduate diploma from the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute (2015). Over the past 20 years , I have developed my own creative arts practice, and facilitated numerous community arts projects.. It has been an honour to offer art therapy within child and family services, school systems, healthcare and social service systems over the past decade.
